Summer Hours at Skate Ranch

Visit our Lufkin, TX location at 5012 Lotus Lane Wednesdays through Sundays! We’re accepting our free admission passes Wednesday through Friday during our 1-4pm session, and on Saturdays and Sundays during our 12:30-5pm sessions. Keep in mind that skate rental is extra.

Summer Hours at Skate-O-Rama

Skate-O-Rama is located at 1208 Douglas Road in Nacogdoches, TX. Free admission passes are accepted for the same special summer sessions at Skate-O-Rama. Visit this location Wednesday through Friday from 1-4 pm and on Saturdays and sundays from 12:30-5pm with your free roller skating pass!

Coupons

If your child did not receive a free roller skating pass from school, don’t worry! You can still take advantage of money savings opportunities at Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama. Summer Discount Passes for $2 off admission may be printed from our website. These are valid during our summer skating sessions from June 6 to August 16.

Kids Skate Free

In addition to our roller skating passes and discount passes, don’t forget to sign up for Kids Skate Free! This is a free program for you; all you have to do is sign up! We’ll be accepting Kids Skate Free coupons each week during the same Wednesday through Friday 1-4pm sessions, and Saturday and Sunday 12:30-5pm sessions.

Skate Ranch in Lufkin is proud to help support physical education and learning opportunities for students throughout the community. The same is true of Skate-O-Rama in Nacogdoches. Both rollerskatingtexas.com rink locations give back to the students of the community on a regular basis with free passes. However, as Roller Skating Association (RSA) members, Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama have the ability to give back to the community even more.

Community Grants

As RSA members, Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama have the ability to partner with schools and teachers that may be interested in applying for grants. The Roller Skating Foundation provides grants to schools and teachers to support physical education and learning goals. These grants begin at an amount of $25, but more can be requested.

Anderson Elementary School Eagles

Anderson Elementary in Lufkin, TX became a recent recipient of a Roller Skating Foundation grant. This was in part due to the grant physical education teacher, Aby Goff, applied for through the foundation. After filling out the grant application requesting funding for new equipment and activities for students, she had to submit it to an RSA skating facility. Mrs. Goff chose to bring it to Lufkin’s own Skate Ranch where owner Sig Semien invited local teaching staff to apply for the foundation grant. Ms. Semien helped get the grant application to the foundation’s committee and after a few months of waiting she and Mrs. Goff got the exciting news!

Roller Skating Foundation Grant for Local School in TX

The foundation granted $700 toward the $1,450 that Mrs. Goff had applied for. In an effort to fill the gap and help Mrs. Goff pursue her goal of helping provide students more through the Anderson Elementary physical education program, Skate Ranch generously picked up the balance. As a result, students at Anderson Elementary are the real winners! Congratulations to Mrs. Goff and the students of Anderson Elementary!

Summer is almost here, and you might be wondering what you will do to keep your youngsters physically active and entertained. We’ve got just the solution with free roller skating for children age 12 and under!

Kids Skate Free

This free program is offered to kids across the country at participating roller skating rinks. We are proud to serve families and community members with this program at both the Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama locations. Parents can sign up for free at the KidsSkateFree.com website and two free roller skating passes per child will be emailed directly to your inbox on a weekly basis.

Free Roller Skating Admission in Lufkin, TX

Skate Ranch in Lufkin, TX accepts Kids Skate Free passes on Saturdays from 12:30-5pm and during late skate from 8-11pm. Kids Skate Free passes are also accepted on Sundays from 12:30-5pm. Skate rental is $3 for inline or traditional quads.

Free Roller Skating Admission in Nacogdoches, TX

Skate-O-Rama accepts Kids Skate Free passes during sessions on Friday, Saturdays, and Sundays. Present your pass at the 4-6pm session on Friday, 12-7pm session on Saturday, or at the 12:30-5pm session on Sunday for free admission. Don’t forget that skate rental for quads or inlines is an additional $3.

Birthday parties are a joyful experience for kids! With cake, friends, presents, and fun times, we know that memories are being made. However, we know that sometimes while birthdays bring joy for young ones, added stress may be felt on the family budget when planning a birthday party. At Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama, we do our best to relieve any financial stress associated with a birthday party. Our birthday party packages start at just $99.

What’s Included?

At Skate Ranch our Super Skate Birthday Party Package is for a total of 16 kids. This easily accommodates the birthday guest of honor and 15 additional guests. A choice of pizza or a hot dog and chips is included for each party guest. A party table will be available for 2 hours, and paper products for 16 are provided (this means you don’t have to worry about carting in plates, napkins, forks, or straws). Quad or inline skate rental is included for each party guest to roller skate, and parents of the birthday boy or girl get to skate for free! In addition to all of this, a free skating pass will be provided for each guest to use in the future.

The Skate-O-Rama Fun Skate Birthday Party Package provides the same with the exception of a choice of pizza. However, you are welcome to bring in pizza on your own.

Think Outside the Box

While Birthday Party is in the title of our Super Skate and Fun Skate packages, that does not mean you are limited to using these packages just for birthday parties. These packages can be easily adjusted to apply to sports teams, scout troops, youth groups, church groups, and other organization parties.
